Setting health goals is only step 1 of the process. Sometimes we can get those goals set, but then we bog down trying to make progress. It is now one month into the new year and time to evaluate how the first part of the year has gone. Are you stuck? Are you spinning your wheels?
Here are some important things to consider:
- Reaching a big goal is composed of a number of baby steps. What tiny step can you take today that will take you closer to your big goal.
- Why is your “why”? Keep that why in front of you as it can be very motivating. Don’t lose sight of it.
- Rest is as important in reaching your goal as work is.
- With each accomplishment, it is important to take a step back and celebrate your success.
