I get it. I was there a year ago after watching my mother-in-law die from complications of diabetes. I was stressed and overweight and surprised to find that I had the classic blood sugar numbers for pre-diabetes. I purchased a blood sugar monitor and began to check my own sugar. I began to practice intermittent fasting and changed my diet to cut out many carbohydrates and increase the fat. Over the next six months I saw my blood sugars drop down to under 100 fasting most days. I lost 40 pounds and have kept the weight off. I am keeping the diabetes away and I feel great.

When you work with me, here’s what you will get:
- 6 one-on-one phone sessions scheduled at your convenience and done from the comfort of your home or office. The first session is one hour, and the following sessions are 30 minutes each.

I have been struggling with diabetes for 9 years, and I never took it really seriously. I was put on meds from the beginning, but would not be consistent with them. Over a year ago I decided not to take any diabetes medicines. Of course, the result was higher blood sugar levels, (245 and above). But the meds were never going to cure me of diabetes and I needed to make lifestyle changes. I was tired all the time, no energy and didn’t have a plan as to how to make the changes.
First of all, I am very grateful that my husband Roger got involved with me in taking control of my diabetes. Through his research and contact with Jennifer we both have benefited from her wise counsel. We both appreciate her willingness and her genuine desire to help us.

First: The most significant is lower blood sugar. By following her suggestions my daily blood sugar is lower and when it does climb up, she will have suggestions that will help me bring it down.
Second: Fasting made easier, it is not as hard as one would tend to believe, and she has given me encouragement to do it. And does it herself!
Third: Better eating plan, Jennifer has helped me stick with a Keto diet and a basic healthier way of eating. She has helped me be flexible and not get so stressed out if I fail. She will give me help when I ask a question or have a doubt about something.
I am better able to handle stress as I am eating better and sleeping better. I am not so preoccupied with food. Having a plan really helps, and guidelines as to know what I should eat and what I shouldn’t. I have more energy and am walking more consistently.
